Capturing the Beauty of Nature, In the Beauty of Wood

North Country Creations captures the beauty of America’s wildlife in wood in a way that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional.  This functional art takes its shape in the form of such things as curio cabinets, bookcases, desks, mirrors, murals, beds, coffee and end tables, plaques, clocks, gun cabinets, and other types of furniture and accessories for every room.  It is also captured on the stocks of rifles, shotguns, handguns, and even knives.  The scenes depict the wildlife in their natural settings, lending to their lifelike appearances.  North Country Creations also offers items for decorating the landscape and garden.

North Country Creations leans mostly towards American wildlife; however, it has done custom work which has included domestic pets and exotic animals.  New ideas and designs are always welcomed.

In addition to the animal scenes themselves, the rest of each piece has a rustic flair to it too.  Wood grain and knots are all carved into the piece by hand. Oak leaves, animal tracks and other accents are often added.

North Country Creations also makes a variety of products for taxidermists which are used to display their work.  Items such as habitat bases, panels, coffee tables and display cases are just a few.  Because of their rustic look they greatly enhance any mount and provide the taxidermists with something different and unique for their clients.

All work is heirloom quality because it is all hand carved and hand painted.  No duplicating machines are ever used.  This makes each and every piece unique and something that can be handed down from generation to generation with pride.  These lifelike works of art will appreciate in value in the years to come.  And of course they are all proudly made in the U.S.A.
